Howdy, and welcome back! We spent the weekend at OUR ranch. In fact, we were due to come back on Sunday afternoon, but Mama got so "ranched" (i.e. relaxed) that she gave me that look on Sunday that means "We aren't leaving today". So, we stayed until Monday evening. I had to drive quite a bit for work on Monday, but that was ok, as my family got to sleep in late, and the kids got wash and wax their four wheelers. <-------(Insert redneck joke here)

We got the deer feeder moved. It is in such a great spot, you can see it from the front porch...almost. There are some tree limbs in the way that prevent optimum line-of-sight viewing from the porch, but the big honey-bee nest/comb kept me from trimming the trees like I wanted to. On Sunday afternoon, Mama went out to relax on the porch and she quickly came back in and said "DOE"! We went out, and I sent Ryan back for the camera. Here's a pic of the doe as she stood not 200 yards from the front porch:

















You know, I don't know what I was more proud of: My wife recognizing at 200 yards that it was a doe, or the fact that later on she said "she was good sized too". Ahhhh, a good redneck woman is soooo hard to find......LOL!!
