Well, I know, I know, it's been months since we've updated the site. We did so much work at O.U.R. Ranch this year that I need to be better about posting!

Well, the new picture in the previous post wasn't the greatest, so here's how the house looks now. I took this the other day, so you can tell it's still winter from the barren trees.


If you look real hard, you can see the furniture on the front porch. That was my father's day gift last year!

All the plants have buds on them. In fact, all the bulbs that mama and the kids planted last year
are coming up. Oh, and hey....I bought a riding lawnmower and plan on bringing it up next week. I know, I'm getting old......



Well, we finally finished the dining room. Paint, furnture, and laignappe.

The smaller table really opens the room up and
gives it that "country feel" we wanted.

If you look there on the wall, that's a collage of
photo's taken when the house was first moved
to the ranch in '85. Hard to believe that was
22 years ago!




Lastly, here's a look at the bedroom again. Brenda found some iron stars when she was in Arkansas that add some feel to the room, but something's just not right.

I think we're going to need to do away with those
window treatments, and go in another direction. The room lacks natural light....

Well, that's it for now. Spring break is nextweek, and the family will be up there seveal days.
